Rasvi x Atelier Arohi
Diwali Festive Boxes
At Atelier Arohi, we collaborated with Rasvi to create custom illustrations for their festive Diwali boxes, bringing together vibrant colours, intricate details and Indian-inspired motifs to celebrate the spirit of the festival.
Client: Rasvi India
Diwali is as much about the joy of giving as it is about celebrating. Mithai boxes have long been a part of this tradition, travelling between homes, shared with loved ones and carrying a little sweetness with them. For Rasvi, the idea was to create packaging that felt like an extension of that celebration, something thoughtful, colourful and worth holding onto.
Visual Discovery & Research
The process began with exploring the visual language of Indian festivities, from traditional textiles and intricate patterns to the colours and flowers associated with Diwali.
Rasvi's existing fabric-inspired boxes, particularly their use of bandhani, became an important starting point. I wanted the illustrations to feel connected to this identity rather than introduce something entirely new. The challenge was to bring together the richness of textile traditions with a more illustrative, storytelling-led approach.
Bringing Rasvi to Life
One of the most important elements was incorporating Rasvi's storefront into the artwork, making the packaging feel personal and recognisable to the brand. The storefront became a central part of the composition, surrounded by flowers, festive details and decorative elements that brought warmth and a sense of celebration.
The final illustrations brought together the familiarity of Rasvi's physical space, the intricate language of bandhani and the abundance of Diwali florals. The result was a series of festive mithai boxes that felt distinctly Rasvi, while celebrating the joy of gifting and the beauty of Indian traditions.
Filters and Stickers
The filters, stickers, and chat wallpaper needed to reflect elements from the mass snap while featuring unique compositions. I used this opportunity to highlight the smaller yet meaningful details, such as garlands of marigolds, mango, and neem leaves, capturing the essence of festive warmth.
